Course Description

Tempered glass, otherwise known as crash glass, is a versatile material that when used as an overlay adds shimmer to an acrylic painting. Students will use tempered glass, as well as some precut stained glass pieces if desired, over an acrylic paint creation to produce compositions filled with unexpected visual interest.

Join us for a fun and creative 2-day glass mosaic workshop! In this workshop! You will learn how to work with scrap glass pieces, cut and shape them using mosaic tools, and create a personalized glass masterpiece. All materials are included.  

Workshop details: 

  • Materials Provided:
    • All supplies, including scrap glass, mosaic tools, and substrates.
  • What to Expect:
    • Day 1: We will start by designing and gluing glass pieces onto a substrate to form your unique piece of art. You will learn how to cut and fit the glass pieces to create your design.
    • Day 2: The second session will focus on grouting your mosaic and adding finishing touches to complete your artwork.
