Course Description

Tempered glass, otherwise known as crash glass, is a versatile material that when used as an overlay adds shimmer to an acrylic painting. Students will use tempered glass, as well as some precut stained glass pieces if desired, over an acrylic paint creation to produce compositions filled with unexpected visual interest.

Unleash your creativity and add a personal touch to your home with our Mosaic House Number Workshop! Over two evenings, you will learn the art of mosaic making and create a stunning, custom house number or sign to adorn your home or garden.
Workshop Highlights: 

October 14:
Begin your mosaic journey by practicing various mosaic techniques. You will then start designing and assembling your unique house number or alternative sign. Whether you envision a welcoming "Faith," "Peace," or "Love," or a charming "Eggs" sign for your she-shed or chicken coop, the possibilities are endless. We will provide all necessary materials, including substrates, tesserae (mosaic pieces), glue, and grout, ensuring you have everything needed to craft a beautiful piece of art.
October 21:

Return to complete your project with the grouting process. This step will give your mosaic a polished finish and make it ready for display.
